My Best Tutorials
Hi, I'm Ferdy
I made my first website in 1999, and I got stuck so often that I almost quit more than once.
In 2015 I started sharing what I had learned on YouTube, so you would not have to run into the same problems. More than 1,500 videos later, over 1.2 million people have subscribed.
Today I show you how to build websites with WordPress, Elementor and AI tools like Claude. Always step by step, from a blank page to a finished website.
I was born and raised in The Netherlands. I am married to Anna and we have two children.

Frequently Asked Questions
Short answers to the questions I get asked the most.
Do I need experience to follow your tutorials?
No. Most of my tutorials start with a blank page and show every step until the website is finished, so you can follow along even if you have never built a website before.
Are the tutorials really free?
Yes. The tutorials on this website and on my YouTube channel are free to watch. Some of the tools I work with are paid products, so check the tutorial before you start.
Can I build a website with AI?
Yes. AI tools like Claude can design and build large parts of a website for you, and in my tutorials I show you how to do that step by step. Combined with WordPress, you stay in control of your website and can keep editing it yourself.
How do I install WordPress?
Most hosting companies offer a one-click WordPress installer in their control panel, which is the quickest route for a new site. You can also install it manually by downloading WordPress, uploading the files to your server, creating a database, and running the setup wizard in your browser.
How do I secure my WordPress site?
Keep WordPress, your theme and your plugins updated, use strong and unique passwords with two-factor authentication, and only install plugins from sources you trust. Add an SSL certificate, take regular backups, and remove any plugin or theme you no longer use.
